Off-Roading around a Desert Island

Off-Roading around a Desert Island

We started our first full day in Aruba on the Andicuri UTV Off-Road Safari through Arikok National Park and other than getting underwater, I can’t imagine a better way to be introduced to the island.

Arikok is magical. Seeing cacti, clay valleys, lush greenery, jagged volcanic rocks, crashing royal waves and natural rock bridges all in the same blink is such a sight!

Really. My Florida eyes were overwhelmed. Thankfully my awesome friend Lauren wanted to drive because I was way too excited about snapping pics to be bothered with operating a motor vehicle. Double win.

The tour stops at Andicuri Beach, Alto Vista Chapel, Bushiribana Ruins (there’s a little snack stand with cold beer!) and the historic California Lighthouse. I fell so in love I came back to Arikok two days later to ride it by horseback with Rancho Daimari and check out the Conchi Natural Pool. This place rocks, and UTV was the perfect way to see it.

Where’s the most diverse landscape you have seen in a small place?!
